Our Philosophy
At Delicate & Dangerous Studio, photography is about more than images. It's about helping people see themselves differently — more confident, more powerful, more comfortable in their own skin. Whether it’s your first time in front of the camera or you’re exploring a bold creative concept, our role is to create an environment where you feel supported, respected, and celebrated. Because sometimes the most powerful images come from embracing both sides of yourself: The delicate and the dangerous.
“Delicate and dangerous” describes something that appears soft, refined, or gentle — yet carries undeniable power, intensity, and edge beneath the surface. That contrast is the foundation of Delicate & Dangerous Studio. Based in Canberra and available to travel, we specialise in intimate and expressive photography that celebrates confidence, identity, and personal exploration.
Our work blends boudoir portraiture, alternative aesthetics, and kink-inspired visual storytelling to create imagery that feels cinematic, powerful, and deeply personal.
The studio is run by husband and wife team Gregg and Martha, who bring complementary strengths to every session. Gregg, the photographer, focuses on crafting the visual experience. Each shoot is carefully tailored to highlight the individual — their personality, their confidence, and the energy they want to express. His goal is to create imagery that reflects people as they want to be seen: strong, sensual, bold, or beautifully vulnerable.
Alongside him at every session is Martha, the heart and driving force behind the studios empowering environment. Martha is deeply passionate about body confidence and self-expression. She works closely with clients throughout the shoot to help them feel comfortable, supported, and celebrated. Her presence ensures that every person in front of the camera feels seen, confident, and proud of who they are. Having Martha present at every session also means no one is ever alone in the studio environment. Her role is to support, encourage, and make sure the experience remains positive, empowering, and centred entirely on the person being photographed.
Together, Gregg and Martha create a welcoming and respectful space where people can explore self-expression without judgement — whether the final imagery is soft and intimate, bold and dramatic, or somewhere in between.
